Ridgefield Continuing Education

Resume Assistance, Interview Skills and Techniques, and Job Search Techniques may be scheduled on Fridays, June 21; July 12, 19, or 26, from 1 to two p.M. or at different times. Intro to LinkedIn One-on-One, Using LinkedIn for Your Job Search, and Interview Skills Training can be scheduled on Fridays, June 21, July 19, or 26, from noon to one p.M. Tai Chi Exercises with Light Weights, Wednesdays, June 26; July 10, 17, 24, 31; Aug. 7 and 14, 7:30 to eight:30 p.M. A Friday morning session meets June 28; July 12, 19, 26; Aug. 2 and 9, 10 to eleven a.M.

Yoga and Cardio instructions that start in July are also available. Classes meet for 5 to 9 periods, and fees are $ sixty-two to $108. Yoga

Yoga training assists participants in expanding middle electricity and flexibility; constructing bone density and strength; improving posture and feel of balance; and meeting fitness dreams. New sessions are provided through Ridgefield Continuing Education.

Gentle Yoga with Shanta Marshall Ballou meets Mondays, July 8, 15, 22, 29, and Aug. 5, from 7:15 to 8:30 p.M.

Summer Garden Care Clinic

A Summer Garden Care Clinic with professional horticulturist Eileen Burton is available via Ridgefield Continuing Education Tuesday, July nine and 16, from 10 a.M.-midday, at the Annex, sixty-six Prospect St.

This health facility recommends lawn protection, harvesting, and troubleshooting for pests and a journey to the teacher’s flower and vegetable lawn for a stay demonstration. Directions to the live rally (in Ridgefield) will be supplied at first.

Italian elegance

An Italian Summer Conversation magnificence for people who’ve completed previous sessions or have a comfortable command of the language is available via Ridgefield Continuing Education Wednesdays, July 10, 17, 24, 31, and Aug. 7, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.M., on city corridor annex constructing.

Art-Inspired Writing

Art-Inspired Writing with Kim Kovach runs Thursdays, July 11, 18, 25, and Aug. 1, from 6:30 to 8 p.M., on the town corridor annex, sixty-six Prospect Street.

Participants will look at artwork from American artists consisting of Edward Hopper, Andrew Wyeth, and John Singer Sargent. Each work of artwork goals to encourage clean thoughts for story writing with touch art records as an advantage.

Instructor Kim Kovach teaches fiction and nonfiction writing for adults in Connecticut and New York. Kovach is the author of six fiction books, writes a weekly column for Halston Media, and existing articles for Westchester Senior Voice and Wellness.
