After Marathas, Brahmins Protest for Quota in Maharashtra
Mumbai: Seeking separate reservations for Brahmins on the grounds of socio-educational backwardness, Samast Brahman Samaj Maharashtra, an umbrella frame of 15 abnormal Brahmin corporations, held a day-long protest in Mumbai's Azad Maidan on Tuesday.Members from the organization met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in the afternoon to position their demands. "The chief minister confident us that everyone the needs, besides the call for a reservation, will be normal in principle.
